Generative, formerly Other Logic, is an event and experience agency. It designs systems people can stand inside. We designed and built a website that works the same way: one gold line draws the story as you scroll.

The brief

Make a website that feels like one of Generative’s spaces, something you step into and move through. It still had to read clearly and work on a phone.

The Golden Thread

One continuous gold line tells the whole story. It is built on the golden ratio, the same construction as the G in the logo, and it draws itself as you scroll.

  1. The line curls into a Fibonacci spiral beside the opening words.
  2. It unspools into golden-ratio circles, with the G inside.
  3. Three spheres, one for each discipline, melt into one.
  4. The sphere breaks apart into the grid of projects.
The 3D canvas maps one unit to one pixel, so the line locks onto the real page and the words keep pace with it.
